Alyson Garland
This school year, Ms. Garland is teaching a wide variety of math and science courses in addition to teaching CLE, CLC, and PE. She is a Sports School teacher with Smithers Secondary School.
Leslie McCurrach
Ms. McCurrach has been teaching in the BVEC online program since 2012 and is always searching for ways to improve student engagement, develop culture, foster relationships, and empower students to personalize their learning pathways in the asynchronous DL classroom. Ms. McCurrach teaches English 8-12, Social Studies 8-12, and a number of electives, in addition to a unique Gamified English 10, 11, and 12 program.
ABOUT US
Bulkley Valley Education Connection is an online learning school run by School District 54 (Bulkley Valley) for parents and students who are seeking an alternative to classroom based instruction for kindergarten to Grade 12 students. Teachers will work with parents and students to design a program suited to each individual student. Students may enroll full-time or part-time or, combine an online learning program with classroom instruction.
